Located on the ground floor of Casa da Calçada, the Douro & Tâmega Space is an interpretive and promotional centre for the "Douro Verde" [Green Douro] territory (Amarante, Baião, Cinfães, Marco de Canaveses, Penafiel and Resende).

It has a tourist shop for the promotion and sale of local products, from traditional crafts to "Vinho Verde" [slightly sparkling white or red wine from Northern Portugal].

On the upper floor there is the Information Centre of the Route of the Romanesque, where you will find a series of promotional material you can buy or read.
